Rode on Wednesday through the snow coming down.

Taking the Spyder in today for its winter service so it'll be away for a few days, but as soon as I have it back, riding through the rest of the season, and shivering appropriately.

We are fortunate to be able to ride year round here in New Mexico. Great riding weather here today, supposed to be 67 deg. and sunny.

Our 's have officially been in hibernation since 11/20. This year, that is 6 more weeks of riding than I have had since moving here in 2001. Black ice on my side road. Today, we are getting some snow and it is going to be about four inches deep before tapering off.

It has been a fantastic riding season. I put 9,500 + miles on the new 2014 between May 1 and 11/20 as well as 2,500 miles on other 's.

My winter project will be to install KOTT grills on my 2014 and maybe a set for akspyderlady's also. Going to clean and polish so they look showroom new when awakened around March 31.

    Only 121 more days.

It hit 75 here today and the lunch at the Mountain Lodge was great we probably rode for 6 hours. (We looked for you on the road Bob, but did not see you)

Yep, ride year 'round here. But even when I lived in St Louis I rode (Yamaha V-Star 1300T and Royal Enfield Military) when it was 40 degrees or above.

75? Was that the speed that you were cruising at?

Psy no attention to the thermometer. Just remember that nasty salt and muck on the road.

Cool Beautiful day to ride in the Houston Tx area

Got out for a 150 mile breakfast ride today. A little windy after breakfast, but how can one complain with the temp around 80 degrees!
What an unusual selection of bikes today...

Went on my first ride of any distance today....needed to go to Central Florida Powersports to replace my am/fm antenna which I snapped off putting a cover on the bike.!!!! Anyway it was a ride of about 130 miles and went well. Thought the Spyder was pretty windy...looked down at my speedo and it said 75. This thing sure likes to run. Only had two oh s**t moments. One when a guy in front of me in stop and go traffic jammed on his brakes and I reached for the hand break.....the other on a long right hand sweep when I thought I was going to meet the uncoming traffic head on. I was out of position on the bike and just leaned into the corner and hugged the gas tank with my knees more..lessons learnt.

    I love this Spyder!

Joked with the service techs at my dealer today-- they've got a special for winter bike storage, I said with all the Indian summer we've been having here in D.C., they must not be filling the garage. Turns out they've done brisk business, which only made me sadder. Anything above 40 degrees, it's pleasure riding time around here for me (I bought my heated gear for a reason!). Anything above the teens, it's commuting as usual.

I am fortunate enough to spend winters in Mesa, Az, where it was in the high 70s today... So I was out with the pressure washer cleaning the RTS.... I live in Kansas during the summer, because its over 100 by 10 AM for most of the summer here.. So I ride all year.....

    Still riding? Yes.

Here in the land of fruits and nuts it's year 'round riding only taking days off for rain, which lately has been too rare.
