SWMBO had hers replaced on Sept 10 and has been out on her RT a couple of times now. We've had several out of town trips that have interrupted ride time but she says she's ready to do some half days after the first if the year.

and having been in your shoes twice, at 66 and 68 respectively, I would be hanging onto my Spyder and concentrating 100% on my rehab exercising to be back on it ASAP. You can be back on the seat and logging miles faster than you imagine now. Good Luck!

Jim,

You should be able to ride after 6-8 weeks any distance. I had to go through a hip replacement and the M.D. stated I had to wait the 6-8 weeks and then he said the only limiting factor would be any discomfort that I might encounter. I did not have any problems with the first ride and have not had any difficulty since.

It makes the news out here. I liked the snow when sledding in the park. I hated when the nyc dept of sanitation would dump snow in my driveway and I'd shovel and get plowed in over & over. Send your email for pics.
