    Default winter storge

Tires should always be stored in a clean, cool, dry, indoor environment away from sources of heat and ozone such as hot pipes and electric generators. Be sure that surfaces on which tires are stored are clean and free from grease, gasoline or other substances which could deteriorate the rubber. If storage is for one month or more, eliminate the weight from the tires by raising the vehicle or by removing the tires from the vehicle. Failure to store tires in accordance with these instructions could result in damage to your tires or premature aging of the tires and sudden tire failure.

    Default What!

Now you can throw that piece of paper away. Put some fuel stabilizer in the tank and move on. If you are really concerned about flat spotting the tires push it a few feet front in two weeks and then two weeks later push it back and repeat this until spring. Not me I keep it ready to ride. When I get a sunny 40+ degree day in the winter I am out of of here for a few hours.

    Default But much...

if your worried up your tire pressure. All those studies and reports you get from auto tire companies will be the same and based on cars...we are talking 2 tons not 800 +/- lbs. Many just park on some carpet pads or plywood and keep her on the ready...

Stabil (or similar) in the gas tank. Battery on a battery tender. Not to worried about tires. I air them up when ready to ride in the spring.

If you REALLY wanted to go all out; put the bike up on jackstands, and let the tires dangle a bit...

I don't worry about the tires, I let the dealer take care of that. Since I put up my Spyder for Winter Storage. Deanna
