You maybe right. We are going to get the same thing Sunday night and Monday morning. If it melts off the ground here and they don't salt the roads, I will bundle up and plug in the heated gear and ride. Have a Great One, Ride Safe & Stay Warm!

I am also thinking this is the going into hibernation weekend here also.
If so, it has been a great riding year for us. We are going to plan more stuff next summer--health permitting.
I hope to meet up with you next summer

No, it's not foam, it's frozen water. Around here , we call it SNOW and we HATE it.

As much as I liked riding all year [the past 2 years]
I know we need the water here in California
So, I will gladly put the to bed for the winter if it would only snow

Mines put away
I have it (Spyder) switch places with where the snowblower gets stored.

Me either. I put some crap it the tank so the gas dont spoil. Plug in the battery tender and any warm day in Dec, Jan, or Feb if it warms and the roads are dry we will push the Spyder outside and ride. If I can get up & down my ugly dirt driveway.

I don't put my Spyder in storage. One of the main reasons I bought mine is because we get quite a few "warm" days during the winter months and I plan on being out riding.

3 inches of New Snow
I last rode on Veterans Day, six days ago then put the Sta-Bil in the tank and hooked up the tender. Good thing too because Winter got here about three weeks early. We just got our first significant snowfall overnight with 3 inches. No more riding until Spring here.

Crazy weather--heck yes! My last time on nanner was Thursday the 13th. Wait and see mode for the weekend. Low 20's and black ice on my country road. Did not venture out because of the black ice.
Today, low 30's, but still the black ice on the road, ramps, and shady spots. There is a lot of that, as the sun does not rise much above the 10:00 position in the sky. That is lower than a lot of the mountains. We are down to just less than 7 hours of daylight, not much heating, and no melting in the shade. My road is on the wrong side of the mountains. It is looking like I am done riding for the season. Going to "Stabilize" in a couple days or so.
This year, I got an extra month of riding in compared to the last three seasons. Last riding days in the previous years were between 10/5 and 10/9.
