I rode down today from Duluth. Roads were good on 35 south until I got to Harris Mn. Our fantastic Minnesota Department of Transportation neglected to plow from Harris to North Branch. Soooooooo, I'm stuck on the freeway. Highway Patrol calls a tow for me. The total distance towed; 3.5 miles.....to clean pavement in North Branch!!! 100.49 dollars.. Well, drivers gotta eat too. If I could have driven 3.5 miles, I would have shaved 3 hrs off my ride. So, in conclusion, don't ride after a snow storm (14 inches in Harris).. go figure
ps.............I arrived home sore, tired, broke, but experienced
