Turlow Deerskin Jacket

Hi all I have a size 42 Classic Turlow Deerskin Jacket. I would like to sell it but I have NO experience with leather jackets. Can anyone help me and give me an estimated value for this. I did some research and find very little. It is in good shape with a few places that have begun to peel. Is there any interested in this. I looked up the site and did not see the exact price. Most Thurlow jackets are going for $450 and up. Being an old leather merchant, the price is about in the ballpark for new. Used...you can expect about 1/2 retail value. Not sure what tanned deerskins are going for these days, but a jacket usually takes 5 skins (9 sq. ft. or larger) . One for the front, one for the back, one for each arm, and another for trim. Take that, add the labor, and there you are for similar to what you are showing.

Yours looks like what is referred to as "smoked deerskin."

Sounds good to me. The nice thing about leather jackets is that the older they get, the better. I am still wearing my 1984 Hein Geirke and my early 90's Wilson Leather.
