How do you stand to leave them to travel so much? When I'm gone I really miss my dog!
I hate leaving them and they hate being left.

My brother used to have an aging blue heeler, Chelsea, that was over-weight, so they put her on a diet. So when she got hungry, she'd just go hunt. (They lived in the country.) When friends of theirs visited with their miniature poodle pup, the puppy just jumped and yapped around the heeler wanting to play. Chelsea got annoyed and, probably being hungry, finally just chomped right onto the puppy's neck!! You should have seen all the people jump and scream! Luckily, the puppy was unhurt, Chelsea made her point, and the puppy learned her lesson!
i really don't go anywhere because of my youngest mindi, she hates everyone and will make herself sick if she has to be with someone else. tomorrow they get the haircuts and baths and mindi will shake for a day or two

Ouch! That will make one feel welcome. Mine actually seem to be happy when I come back from vacation. They will be waiting for me at the top of the stairs.

He is a big boy. That is a picture of him when he was younger, but right now he is a solid 20 pounds, all muscle. Knocks the breath out of me when he walks over me in the bed to snuggle up to mommy. 13 years old & going strong. He stands guard duty in the driveway to keep the neighboring dogs out of our property. He can be persuasive, since he has a fair amount of bulk to back him up. Cats are every bit as territorial as dogs, if not more.
