Two Incredible Rides This Summer
I just completed the second of two long rides this summer: (1) the first (three weeks) was from Knoxville, TN into the Canadian Rockies; (2) the second (one week) was in the wilds of West Virginia which ended on Saturday. If you'd like to see pics here is a link to the Rockies ride: http://countryroads.org/gallery3/ind...07-26-to-08-17 and here is a link to the WV ride: http://countryroads.org/gallery3/ind...10-18-to-25-PA
Not only was the scenery incredible (in different ways) on both rides but -- and this is most important -- my 2014 Spyder ran flawlessly. I put over 8000 miles on the bike in the Canadian trip and another 2000 miles in WV. No complaints, no bashing of BRP, no limitations, no maybe's -- just a few good friends mile after mile.

Canadian Rockies
Looks like you had a great trip to the Rockies, the pics are wonderful. We were there at the same time, left VT on 7/27 and returned on 8/17, only 6600 miles. I think we pretty much covered the same places, but I think you must have missed the Canadian holiday weekend 8/2-3. We were around Lake Louise and it was mobbed. We rode up to Lake Louise but never even saw the lake (couldn't find a place to park) and it was so crowded we couldn't even drive up to Moraine Lake. Glacier was also very crowded and the turnouts on Going-to-the-Sun Rd. to stop for pictures were jammed so that unless someone was pulling our as you arrived there was no place to park.

Ken, I'm so happy to hear that you had a couple of great trips this year. I know that last year was memorable for you but for all of the wrong reasons. I too have found the 2014 to be very reliable on long trips.
