Default How do you clean your spyder?

When I had my motorcycles, I normally used a good spray on detailer unless the bike was really dirty like if I was caught in the rain. Then I would use a mild soap and water. For my cars I always use soap and water and only use detailer for a final cleaning. What do most of you do?

I use RainX car wash to gently clean my , then follow up with Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax spray. I use it on the windshield as well. It helps to sheet water off like RainX, but doesn't damage anything. I use microfiber cloths to dry everything and then apply the Lucas spray and wipe it down again. Makes the next wash easier as well . As a bonus, it smells good too. A very good product.

Clean and detail my Spyder the same way as my car, except I take care with water around the cluster and electronics, as well as any switches etc.

I use an old trick to wash my Spydee . . . . . . . Woolite. Nothing harsh in it and then Lucas Mist it.

Pretty straight forward, Mothers Car Wash with wax in it. In between I use Mothers detailer. I will use No Touch or similar for the tires. For all wash and wiping I use Costco or similar Microfibre towels, but will dry it after washing with a Microfibre dry towel.

I did recently use Mothers Carnuba paste wax, instead of the Synwax. Both worked well.

Sounds special but really is what the cars have been getting for a long time.

I use Meguiar's Quick Detailer, for the light jobs...
And a decent car wash, when things are really ugly...
So I end up doing; what you're doing!

My method as well. Meguirers quick detailer is some nice stuff. I also recently picked up one of those small red California car dusters. Works really good just to wipe off the garage dust before a ride.

I use a product called Bullet Polish. It comes concentrated and mixes with 1 gallon of distilled water for $14.00. Contains carnauba wax. Can be used as a waterless wash or a top coat on your fav wax. Excellent for quick touch ups and good on windshields. Been using it for years on every vehicle I own.

This is what I was thinking as well. I do have one of those dusters to help take off any dust just before a ride. The mequiars also helps to keep the dust and bugs from sticking to the painted surface.

Local car wash. I want to clean it with the least effort possible. I hate washing vehicles.
