I'm looking at the mounting accessories. I'm thinking either my helmet or a clamp mount to the left side of the windshield or that bit of deflector on the lower edge of the windshield. I'll play with it this winter and then decide.

I ordered and received all the parts but I have a concern. The Ram ball that mounts to the dashboard bracket has an acorn nut and a short thread. I know without a lock washer it will loosen. What did you do to make sure it stays tight?

If you can't get a washer on it, use a thread locker like BLUE loc-tite.

Ok, I have put a star washer on the ball side and blue lock tite on the threads. Will see how it stays put. Thanks
