    I shift my 2011 RS-S SE5 at 4,500 to 5,500, it's good for engine and gives the best gas mileage. That's IMHO.

    [QUOTE=Jsimp1726;949629]its the se5[/QUOTE

    Read the spyder do's and don'ts

    The SE5 clutch does not lock up completely until ~32-3500 RPM. That being said you need to get your revs up above that range as quickly as possible. You're not going to break it or hurt the motor if it is wound up to 5-6000 for the shift point. You want your rpm's to stay above the lock up speed so there is no additional slippage from start up.

    Enjoy your ride and drive it during break in like you will throughout its life. Just don't drive at steady speeds/rpms and gently break in your brakes.

    All the great movements in the world began with a cup of coffee!
