Anyone Use This Lift For Spyders

Looks interesting but have my doubts. Looks like it would not have sufficient reach for a Spyder and would be unstable if it did barely reach. But I have no personal experience with it and would LOVE to be proved wrong.

Don't know..!!
I agree in that the reach looks a bit short. You would have to remove the tupperware on the side you are using it for full contact. There is a better one but much more expensive. I use the atv/motorcycle lift which works well. Got mine through sears for a bit more but better quality. Maybe someone here has one and knows for sure...

Bough this from Sears several months ago on sale with free shipping all the other jacks did not offer sufficient clearance to lift the Spyder without driving it onto something first.

Has extensions so you can lift an additional two inches but still use stands for extended work. Fast and smooth jacking up but drops like a rock if not careful and has a mechanical lock.

The capacity is listed as 1100 pounds. That is cutting it pretty close for an RT. I would try to buy one with at least 25% over capacity - especially from a supplier like Harbor Freight.

Also have one of these, rolls easily under the spyder from either side.

But at 5.5" will not slide under the Spyder at floor level or I would have bought that one and saved $100.00

These are the ones Lamonster has in his garage.

It will if the back air shock is pumped up to at least around 50 lbs +. At least mine slides under my RT. It does hit the water deflector though. It does have a very good drop rate control valve.

Is there room to change oil?
Do the type lifts shown above allow sufficient room for changing the oil, especially the 1330's with two drain plugs?

We have no issues with the harbor freight atv jacks fitting under our RS' s. Also, The trick to getting the harbor freight ones to lower slowly is to push the peddle all the way down and hold it down. The spyder will lower slowly. If you release the peddle or try to feather the peddle it comes down like a stone or jerky. It's a little backwards in thought but works.

I have had this lift years before owning a Spyder so if I was purchasing a lift for the first time I would be looking at the other one Sears sells.
