Default Oil Change - Meltdown Assistance Please

We can't figure out how to remove the bottom panel. It slides back and forth, but we don't want to break it off. We have her all torn apart and are stuck on how to remove this piece. Can't get anywhere with it on. 20141008_203452.jpg

Your help would be appreciated. It's getting colorful around here.

I didn't have to removed that panel last time I change my oil. The oil kit I bought came with the instruction and panel removal.

Thanks for your help. I don't know if there is a difference with the RT & the ST, but it seems we have a mess with that panel on, and blocked access to the drain plug.

If we can get it off we can clean it too, even if we don't have to take it off next time. Anyone know the trick to removal?

I took mine off and never replaced it. A consideration since your's auto-ejected anyway.
