I Can't Believe I'm Seriously Thinking of Getting an RT....
I mean, it was fun hearing all of you talking about your Can-Ams but I JUST got a new bike...!!
I wasn't serious until the BBB on those old hilly cracked streets, I saw a lot of Can-Ams and
got to thinking, there is very little stress in that especially with two-up...
A local dealer (yeah I went to look at them up close) had one left...I thought, no,
but, with 0 interest for 6 mths.. I'm thinking I could sell my sweet new bike... oh god...
within the 6 mths...yeah, but I need to sell it within the time period of sales tax, or Id
have to pay sales on full pop...
I don't know the 2015 should be coming out soon...but the price is right...
thoughts ?

Just bought one
The prices are coming down. I just bought a brand new RT-S for $21800, $500 store credit, added a maint. contract and 5 year BEST warranty for $1300 and $1650 or so. 4.99% 72 mon.
Now I got this deal at a franchise that has 4 stores in the area. Only one store had this price, and I got the last one in yellow. (according to the dealer anyway)
Now, It is AWESOME!!!!!!!
My wife was driving it solo in minutes.
JUST DO IT!!!!!! LOL
Have fun, take care,
J

With the RT, there's no real difference between the 2014s and 2015s - take the 14. However, you might want to look at the F3 tho, coming from 2 wheels??

Just do it! I've been riding on 2 wheels since age 10 (I'm 51). Wife rides a Silver Wing with an insta-trike kit on it and I've got a Yamaha Road Star and a Kawasaki KLR-650. I've been saving up for a new bike, and was going back and forth between a 2014 Gold Wing and a 2014 H-D Ultra Limited. Frankly, neither was more comfortable to me than my Road Star (at least not 28K more), so I started thinking about something that my wife and I could both ride. I test rode a 2011 Spyder RT and was impressed. I then test rode a 2014 RT Limited with the 1330 engine and 6 speed auto trans and that was it!! The more I ride the Spyder, the more impressed I am. You won't be sorry!!

I have been thinking about switching from 2 wheels to 3 and have been reading posts on here for a while. Planning to go test ride a 2014 RT S soon. I didn't see any difference between the 14 and 15 other than colors but I am sure you all know exactly what else there is........

I see a problem
Torn between comfort, stability and cargo capacity and anything on two wheels? I am there, too! I know eventually I will have one, but still love the leaning. Plus, as a MSF instructor, I have a two wheel example to set. So, for me, I will resist for a while. You, with no such restrictions, can and should get exactly the one you want, pronto! We regret the things we don't do far more than the things we do. So, just do it! JMHO, Joe

Just a suggestion, talk with Harvey (Spyderpops site sponsor) or Len at Pitbull's before pulling the trigger. Heck, get yourself up to Lamont's BBQ in Springfield, MO this weekend!!
