    Default KEY SYMBOL ON SCREEN

Lately I've been having an orange key symbol show up when I try to start my 2014 RT SE5. It won't start. sometimes the key has been left in the ignition as when it's in my garage, sometimes not. I have taken the key out, walked away and rebooted the computers. Sometimes this works, sometimes not. I eventually get it started but wonder what's up.

    Ride in comfort,
    John

Have you tried your other key?
    If IT works...
It would seem that the bike is telling you that the first key, is not the right key for the bike..
this sounds a bit like a, "consult your dealer", sort of a thing...
    Good Luck!

Bob has you covered. Something is not right.

I leave the keys in both machines in the garage. They always start with no hiccups. Recently had new key and ignition put into the 2014--but my bad was due to the faulty ignition syndrome. No issue with the new keys.
