    great article with many truths mixed in with personal opinions. If you haven't lived outside the US I can see why you don't see what is being said here. I could point out other points but will only be told to go home... this is my home and as wasteful as it is it is still the best place to be...

    I use my spyder as my daily rider, or one of the scooters. I never set out in the rain, but have gotten wet on the way home. I don't ride in the snow or ice, but I have ridden every month of every year for the past lot of years. I think everybody should do the same, but know that will be less for some than others depending on where you choose to live. That also dosen't mean that you need to ride a 50cc moped. Ride what ever makes you happy.
