Default Problems while on a ryde today..

My day started out awesome. We went on a toy run with our HD family to a destination in the western part of MA, ending up at a restaurant that has good seafood and delicious ice cream. After leaving, while on an onramp, I get the "Check Engine" orange screen, no limp mode. Light only stayed on 30 seconds. Made it home ok, idle speed was a bit wonky, from 13-1400 (normal) to 900, and almost stalling. I pulled up active codes, and got P0136, and P0175. Any ideas what the problem could be? Smurfette is a 2010 RT/AC SE-5 with 10525 miles, and a Two Brothers single carbon fiber exhaust pipe. Will call dealer in the morning. My baby got me home safe and sound!

P0136 is engine control module, it talks to the vss.
P0175 is injection & fuel supply - - check fuel pressure regulator. Sounds like a trip to the dealer. Good luck.

    Default FILTER

could be something as simple as your Fuel Filter... if it's getting old, i may be restricting the flow of fuel, which 'could' cause your condition...
have your SPYD3R checked out at the dealers...

    Hi!
No, I didn't have the cruise control on. Oh believe me, I know better than to do too many things at once and Nanny. Please don't ask how I know that.....

I have a 2012 RTL and had an mil light going around a curve at the owners event..BRP had to repair the right side oxygen sensor wiring harness..It had rubbed against a cooler...I guess the engine flexed when I accelerated going around a curve..Thanks to Roger for easy look up of the engine codes..

    Default vacuum hoses

on throttle body should be checked. could be cracked up from heat and age. that might explain the erratic idle.

    Default codes..

Hope it's not the tb AGAIN! It's already been replaced once, because the tb's are a known issue with the 10's.

If it were the throttle body; it would have showed you some other codes...
(I just can't rememver the important ones... )
I'll see if I can find them for you.
with Coz... check those vacuum lines.

Yes, Bob. My service guy at the dealer actually mentioned that they've seen a couple 10's come in with hose issues. He's awesome, and even let me know they stock the needed parts. While she's there, she'll have an oil change, and any other service that needs to be done. Spyder ownership is so much better when you have a good shop!

    Default Lucky you!!

Ultimately having one great service shop would be great.

Now try and imagine having two equally qualified and friendly shops too...?

In your immediate areas there has to be at least one, or I would move. ;-)

I would say its the two vacuum hoses. My 2010 was doing something similar to your spyder at 18,000 miles.
When I checked the two vacuum hoses the one that is close to the exhaust header was really severely cracked and both vacuum hoses were dried out.
I replaced both vacuum hoses and all the problems went away and it runs and idles like new now.

It would just stall out at either low speeds or parked idling especially when it was damp and cool weather.
