That's the setup for the UFIT system. I like the ability to set up the controls for my style/body type.

Orange Apparatus
That orange apparatus must be some sort of jig for positioning the handlebars. The vertical grips with switchgear out ahead of the handlebars looks a bit puzzling to me though.

I won't officially know until I see it in person, but right now my thinking is that I like the silver body/orange frame the best.

Second look, the Apparatus
Looks like the handlebar controls (SM6 in this case) are being temporarily held away from scratching the bike on the apparatus (jig fixture) while it holds the handlebars in postion. From what I saw on the build one part of the F3 website, there are two different handlebars besides the stock ones (long reach & short reach). Maybe this jig fixture is what the tech uses when changing the handlbars, just guessing.

I am guessing the funky handlebar apparatus was part of development (to figure out where the handgrips should be positioned?), but I can't reach any logical conclusion why the switch pods, throttle and clutch would have to be so awkwardly vertical.
