Did yours come with the accessory cigarette lighter adapter in the frunk? If not, then there should a plug dangling (just kidding) behind the knock-out plug.

turns out I did have my shop put in cig light adapter, but it is on a keyed circuit (or at least it is now as I moved the fuse from slot 7 to 6, or 8 to 7... whichever switches it from a live lead to a keyed lead)

I am assuming that I need to pull out the battery to get to the wiring leading behind that plug, or is there another way to get at those wires?

yes, I am lazy, and always looking for the easiest way to do things....

Honestly, in the end frunk removal might be the "easiest" way. It really isn't that big of a deal. Not fun, mind you, just not overly difficult.

But if it's an option then the wiring is there. The switch connects the ground side.

I don't recommend leaving the battery access cover like that. There is a lot of water sloshing around back there when washing or driving in the rain. It will make everything in your trunk wet.

I won't - I will cut a small area out so the cables can run thru and then use either rubber grommets or something else to help reseal the area
