quite frequently the turn signals on the spyder do not turn off automatically unless you make a sharp turn, but certainly not all the time - that would not be normal

but keep an eye on it. You may have a faulty switch. Make sure the switch returns to center after actuating. If sticking left or right this will keep it from self cancelling...

There have been sticky switches and faulty switches. The turn needs to be pretty much 90 degrees to make the signal self cancel. Beyond that, I just manually cancel. The switch on the 2014 RT seems to be better than the one on my 2010 RT. Sometimes it took two or three tries to get it right on the 2010.

If it is continuously a problem, have the dealer check and fix.

I've had some issues with my left signal occasionally not turning on when activated.

I have a 2011 RT and the same problem. It has to go in and left to activate, The right side works great. Dealer says I need a new switch.
