Flying double flags

I am new to riding and new to Spyders....planning on putting double flag posts on my 2014 Cognac RTS. What side should the American flag be flying?

When riding with Rolling Thunder, Patriot Guard or Legion Riders, the US flag is always on the right side of the bike looking from the rear.
