Brake failure error code c1282

I replaced my brake pedal with a chrome one and now get a brake failure error.
Checked fluid level and added some.
Pedal goes way down before brakes are applied.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

looks like you have lost brake pressure. You will have to bleed the system. Hopefully only at the master. Ifthis is not your strong point you should run it (well take it there) by the dealer. Not sure what model or year or how much of the pedal we are talking about. Some require the buds system...
