Default RT Limited Comfort Seat, or ?

In the process of buying a 2014 RT Limited, I have done everything but ride one. wife's idea. When I sit on it, I'm 6 foot 240 pounds and 76 years old, I feel I would like to be further back in the seat especially when applying the brake. I was told to order the comfort seat to move back 2 inches. First I wonder what my wife will think of this, stealing her 2 inches and second I wonder if the comfort seat is the best choice. Any seating suggestions or a way to extend the break peddle

If your dealer has a Comfort Seat in stock ask if they will put it on for you to try out. I have the Comfort Seat and I actually rode in the passenger seat last week, it was surprisingly comfortable and I'm no little girl.

I put the ultimate seat on my 2014 RTL. The back does lose 1.5 inches so it would all depend on the passenger. My wife is only 5' and 115 pounds so she fits.

    Default my seat problem solved

I have an Ultimate seat on my RT and it moved me back 2" but the wife did lose space and she complains about it. I fixed the problem by buying her an RT just for her so now she has a stock seat with the stock backrest that she drives and it solved my problem, but it was an expensive fix and now I just added tri-ax handlebars for her......I hope she's done complaining at least for awhile

    Walt,

There was just a thread on this very subject last week in the RT section. It may be of interest to you. Here's the link.

    Default RENS sheepskin

Welcome to the forum, and Spyder family.

I would have enjoyed throwing a different saddle on her, but the sheepskin from IKEA is doing a great job so far.

Those Ultimate and Comfort seats, do look sweet.

    Enjoy your time spent here.

    Chas
