    Default oil change

    had the oil changed today and i understand the trans filter does not need to be changed till 28k, but where is it located on the bike. we couldn't find it
    NO BIKE AT THIS TIME

    Default As I remember..!!

    it is internal. You have to remove engine cover and replace the filter and gaskets. This is why it is an expensive change when the time comes..

    12 looks more like a filter to me. It is internal gasketed. My money is on that one. Guess you could always buy one from the dealer and match it that way. I plan on doing my own if possible.

    Default Transmission filter (SE6) change it at 28000 miles

    I looked up the transmission filter and it's #16 on the diagram:
