Default Please Help Me Praise A Good Deed

Thought I'd share my story about a Good Samaritan on a recent motorcycle trip and see if anyone is inclined to help me praise his good deed.

A couple of weeks ago, I did a road trip with a group of Harley riders that I know. The very first day out, one of the guys hit uneven pavement and crashed in the mountains of WV at night. He was beat up pretty badly, and we were miles from anywhere. After about twenty minutes or so of my buddy lying in the street, he finally got up and sat on the guard rail while we tried to decide what to do. He thought he could ride on; the rest of us thought it was a bad idea!

Along came a guy in a car who is from the area. He said that the turns get more challenging farther into the mountains and that he wouldn't recommend us riding on. My buddy is a big guy and wouldn't fit on the back of any of our motorcycles. So the Good Samaritan, Craig, tells us that he knows someone down the road, and that we can leave the crashed bike in that person's driveway until morning. Craig tells us that the nearest hospital is about 45 minutes away, but that he would be happy to drive our injured friend there while we follow. So with his help, we got to the emergency room and had our buddy checked out. He had a separated shoulder, broken ribs, and a bruised sternum.

Pitch black WV mountains are not a good place to be in the middle of the night, and Craig went out of his way to do a good deed. Once we got to the hospital, he hung around to make sure we were OK, and showed us the nearest hotel. He refused any money, even for gas. I thought that I would ask the Spyder community to help me do the next best thing and send some shout-outs to him telling him that he is an all-around good guy. If you feel like joining me on this, here is his email address. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I'm hoping he'll get a good collection of thank you emails to remind him about what a great thing he did.
