    Default Coolant Tank PN Swapping...

Hi y'all, have a '09 GS and the coolant tank finally cracked. Ordered a new one and on the receipt they had penciled in a different PN.

I ordered a 709200163 off the BRP web site. A 709200412 was shipped.

Before installing it, just want to make sure this tank is the right one and it's going to fit.

    Thanks!

I had to replace mine several weeks also. 2009 GS SM
What you received is correct. 709200412 is the updated tank.
FYI- when you change out the tank, keep the tank and hoses higher than the motor. This will keep coolant from draining out. I bought a Qt of BRP coolant & topped up the level a little.
Everything went back to OK. No issues

I remember they updated the tanks, but thought they would update the PNs too.

Going forward with confidence on getting the new tank in. Going to zip-tie the hoses high.

    Thank you Bill!
