Very nice! Just so I understand the wording, this is for the transmission filter? Wonder is this is comparible to the new 4600 mile change also?

Sorry, this will only work for the original OEM filter cover. If you have the conversion to the EXTENDED transmission filter, this will not work. Notice it isn't listed for the 2013/14 models. Which are identical as far as filters go EXCEPT that all 2013/14 models use the Extended transmission filter.

Of course none of this applies to the 1330 ACE motor.

No one (to my knowledge) makes the Extended Trans Filter. I was working with HiFlo (who makes all of K&N's oil filters) and they shelved the project when BRP told them they were coming out with the 1330 motor. It's a white elephant and an aftermarket producer makes their money off of volume. Since the SE5 Spyder is the only application on the planet for the extended trans filter, they didn't see much volume potential.

Sorry to be a kill-joy. I was pretty pumped when I first saw the thread. But alas, this filter has been around for a long time. Nothing new.

Just didn't want people ordering these only to discover that they are not a replacement for the extended filter.

I haven't gotten the extended filter system yet. Still using the original size filters I get from Ron along with the Amsoil.
