Default Trading 2013 RT LTD for 2014 RT LTD

I traded my 13 RT for the RT 14 with a $2000 rebate. My bike was only valued at $17K for trade-in. Pissed me off caused I paid $27K only 15 months ago. Anyway I need the upgraded bike for the torque and comfort.

Enjoy the new bike. The 14s are nice indeed. But I just cannot justify the $10,000 cost to upgrade x2 for Louise and I, and they don't offer Blue yet.

I heard a rumor at the owners event that I was going to have one less reason not to trade up come 2015.....

The hits do happen, but in the end you got the machine you wanted.

I lost about $7K when I traded a heavy farkled 08 for a new PE RTS in 2010. Have not looked back and been enjoying the ryde since.

Congrats on your new 2014 RT! The 1330 motor is real sweet. Myself, I need to pay down some debts before I decide on trading my 2013. I just can't justify the loss at this time. I'm happy with my 2013 LTD so far, so I have no reason to get anxious about anything just yet.

Besides, it's not what you've got IN it; it's what you get OUT of it, that truly counts!

Not to hijack your thread...but here is a thought...

if folks here are wanting to trade up to the 14s and soon 15s you know you are going to take some major hits financially...why don't you offer your for a few dollars more than you would get on your trade? Everyone could win...just a thought!

There must be some significant excess inventory out there - I am still seeing NEW 2012 RT's advertised, and there are some terrific deals to be had. I just bought a 2014 RT SE5 with a 7 year warranty for UNDER $20K, out the door. Then they offered me financing for a rate under that paid for savings - it was hard to write that check, but I don't like payments....

You didn't buy it, you stole it. After hearing about your deal, I don't even want to think what mine is worth currently. Guess I will have to ryde it until I die or until it self destructs.
