I called the local BRP dealer who is also listed as a dealer for the Slingshot. They said that they would have them in Oct & put me on the contact list for a test drive.

According to the press in New Zealand the Slingshot won't be coming off the production line until early 2015.

What about exhausts/mufflers in the stats ?

A whole bunch of us are eagerly awaiting information on the Slingshot. A few have them on order. A few more are on the edge of adding one or trading Spyder off to get one.

It's going to be a great vehicle IMO--of course. The subject will be ripe for threads for some time to come.

So many of these seem to claim their roots are from the spyder or the media lumps us in with them but neither apply. We are in a class all our own...!!

I bought the red SL version. I am just waiting on it to arrive. I am keeping my RT for sure. I just want a new toy to play with. I have the first one off the truck at my dealer.

The Polaris dealer in Lancaster, NH has one on the showroom floor.

Just called them. They only had it for 4 days and then it went to a dealer in NJ for a week and then on to another dealer.........

They will have a demo and stock arriving mid Oct.
