Poliaris Slingshot

Today (7/27/14) is supposed to be the launch date for the Polaris Slingshot - a 3-wheeled side-by-side roadster type vehicle with a 2.4L 4-cyl engine. Some guy told me that yesterday while I was out on my Spyder. Anyone heard anything about this?

been here in a few posts and they did have this date for the launch. But as yet have not seen anything though I'm not really looking. Don't fret if it does happen you will know about it here. You can google it and see all the data pictures and spec's...

They look as if they could be fun...

But they're NOT in direct competition with the Spyder.
They're going to be battling with the Ace Morgan and T-Rex...

6:30pm Eastern Time; we'll find out then!

With a steering wheel and side-by-side seating, I think it's more a car than a motorcycle. JMHO

Looks pretty neat and half the price of a t-Rex , it will probably sell pretty good.

that 2.4 motor has lots of potential and there are turbo kits available for it

......And the reason is ......probably not because they really wanted to, but because they were required by law to do so. Kenda ( also " the Aracnid " ) are the only tires of that size made that are " LABELED " as for Motorcycle use ..............and the Slingshot is Legally speaking a Motorcycle .........Mikeguyver

correction - T Rex and other 'motorcycles' may also offer these items. But strange to have on a 'motorcycle'.

When I opened the web site for the Slingshot, the title on the windows tab indicated "2015 Polaris Slingshot".
