Odyssey Battery
I have a new 2014 RT Ltd. The battery seems not to hold a charge. Does anyone know the part # of the proper Odyssey battery for the 2014 RT that will replace the OEM YUASA? I have had good experience with Odyssey batteries in the past. Thank you for your responses.

Your battery is under warranty, let BRP replace it. Should not have any trouble staying charged and YUASA is a good brand. Should last at least 2 years on the bike before you need to worry about it. and the 2014s have a much better charging system.

Have the dealer check for any issues before buying an expensive battery.

Battery Drain from Radio

1. Check connections and make sure they are all clean and tight.
2. Key OFF. If you have access to a Digital DMM remove the ground connection and place the DMM between ground and the battery terminal. The polarity of the reading is not important. If it reads over 200 mA you have a drain on your system probably from the radio.
Batteries are not perfect and one could escape from the factory that is defectrive but there is a higher likelyhood that something else is wrong.
How does one end the drain from the radio? Thank you.

Agree..!!
yuasa has always been good. Have the dealer check it out and replace it if bad or fix the drain to it if one is there. You should not have to spend you money on a new one yet. They last from 2 years on up...7/8 years have been seen....

Checked with DMM, checked ok, took battery to Batteries Plus, tested and found defective, bought new battery yesterday, works fine now. Thank you for your help.
