    Cool 2008 gs/rs oil change

    today I change the oil and filter on my spyder manual shift went to the letter by the book change oil and filter put in 3 quarts run it for a minute cut it off add 1 quart run it to operating temp cut it off check oil. oil only comes up to add mark on the dip stick what am I doing wrong

    Ride it around for an hour and then check the oil. It must be ridden to get everything up to temp.

    Typical oil/filter change on a 998 Spyder takes 4.25 quarts so I'd say you're doing it right. You just need to add the last bit to bring it to full.

    bring it up ti operating temp 4/5 bars and add as needed.
