New 13 RT-S
I got a new 13 RT-S on July 2 so on the first ride from the dealer the front end shakes/wobbles in that 50-60 mph. It's a bad wobble to the point where it looks like the fenders might come loose. My dealer told me they would take care of it on the first service. Well bikes in and they can't get the problem fixed. I was told they are opening a case with brp to help get it solved my concern is that the owner said it would be fine to ride but I fear that it will cause wear on all the other front end components. If anyone else had these problems what did they do to solve it?

Hopefully they did the recall on the defective front joints that plagued the original 2013s, but my humble opinion is that you will never be happy with the 2013 RTS ride until you add Elka shocks and a Bajaron AntiSway bar.....

You may have a bad tire or tires. There have been a few tires that were out of round.
Good luck

Remove & take to get balanced at big o or somewhere with a hunter balancing machine

Agree..!!
with the checking up on recall/bulletin work. Try to find out what they tried. Though you shouln't have to do it you could do as mentioned and have wheel balance checked. I wouldn't think it would be bearings so suspect it is in the roundness, balance or possibly the shocks...

13 RT-S
Ok, here's what they came up with. It's in the wheels and tires, so BRP was supposed to send replacements. Its been two weeks and tires came in but they sent the wrong rims so now it will be next week before I get the correct rims. Dealer will not pull rims and tires off another unit. I am gonna ask for a discount on the first service since they will have my machine a total of three weeks. I am not feeling good about my purchase at this point.

The parts supply chain can be a problem as well as customer service provided by dealers. If they have the proper units in stock--they should have swapped out the tires and rims--(IMO), of course.
Hope that once you get past this bump in the road that all will be will in the future.

My dealer had the claim filed and said BRP will not let them do that. I call BS( R and D) they also said it was brp that was to blame for sending the wrong rims.

My 2013 RT had the same problem. Turned out to be a bad tire. Out of round I think. After three times trying to balance the tires finally figured out by swapping wheels with a known bike that was ok that it was indeed a BAD tire. New tire installed, bike drove like a different bike.

One question, Who Is Your Dealer?
Some of the biggest problems Spyder owners have are their dealers.

I am gonna give them one last chance before I list their name but I picked it up, rims will be in next week. There are issues with my spyder that was supposed to be addressed but were not.

The sway bar is an improvement for sure, as are different shocks. It will depend on how you ride if you need them. My 13 had bad front tires and wobbled until replaced.

Sounds like at least some of your problems are with the dealer. Where are you located? It may be time to look for a new one.
