I removed the side panels and removed the upper portion behind the seat, but was able to leave the frunk and all fenders on. I simply used a sheet to run between the tire and fender to cover all areas around it as well was able use the same sheet to put between the frunk and windshield area. Oh yea also removed the flaps on the front fenders. It took me roughly 5 hours total. The great thing about all this is if you mess anything up or get the coating somewhere you didn't intend to it simply will peel right off or rub off if it's just slight overspray. They have a can called "pearlizer" which I may also try which Would be a clear coat top layer that would create a white diamond appearance. This stuff is a lot of fun to fool around with and if ya don't like it it takes about 5 minutes to pull it all off.

Thanks for all the compliments as well, I really like the white!

I have read here on the forum that some have had it on for years. My neighbor plasti dipped his car after a bad hail storm hit here and had it on there for almost a year so for me only time will tell

Thanks for the explanation. Looks great. If you apply the clear coat you mentioned please post pics. The white looks nice. But your yellow was equally nice. I was thinking a burnt orange shade myself.

that paint works great I painted the bottom of my jeep with that stuff and seems to be holding up very well.

It sticks very well as long as there is no rubbing against it, such as your feet when you get on/off. I had used some RED on my white bike to liven it up and in the process put a large "splash" of it on each side down below the seat. Turned out, it was in a place where the passengers right foot, getting on/off, just naturally lightly rubbed that area and it soon began to peel. The whole section was easy to peel off. Its fun stuff to use, not as messy as regular spray paint, and if you don't like it, peel it off. About $6 a can at Lowes.

I used some BLACK to paint the nose scoop area of my 1330, down under the frunk, and its held up nicely. I had expected that bugs and other debris might cause it to chip but so far its held up.
