Default 2014 RT factory seat drivers backrest

Has anyone installed a drivers backrest on a factory Can-Am Spyder RT 2014 seat?

I installed the factory backrest on my 2014 RTS. The dealer wanted 30 minutes of labor. Took me about 45 minutes and could easily do it now in 30. Not a tough job.

I had a driver's backrest installed on my 2014 RTS when I bought it. My only complaint is that it's not adjustable. Had I known that, I probably would have checked into Utopia first. I had a Utopia on my Goldwing, and it was adjustable.

Just got mine yesterday and watched tech. There was no installation just popped out the removable cover on the seat, took the backrest out of the box and popped it in. He showed me how to go under the seat and flick a latch to release it and pop it off. Easy peesy. 2014 RTS SE6. Does the RT have different seat than RTS?

Must have. I had to add an additional bracket under the seat for the backrest to insert into after removing the plastic cover over the hole in the seat. Not as simple as you just described but still not difficult.

Yes, you have to install a bracket, but that's all. It's simple and quick.
