    Post Ride to New York

I just got back from a 3,200 mile trip to up State New York and back to Lady lake Florida. My Golden 14 Spyder ran great. I got as much as 40 mpg and that's pulling a BRP Trailer I rented from Central Florida Power Sports. On the way back I rode the Blue Ridge Parkway from the beginning to the end a total of 490 miles. We also went up Mt. Mitchel which was over 6,578 feet, and the highest point on the Parkway was 6,050 feet. The Spyder ran great taking all the turns, the hills down and up with ease. I used 4 th and 5 th gears just about all the way and went about 30 to 50 mph all the way. What a great machine. Great ride but we are glad to be home.

It look like you both had a great time. The pics you posted on Facebook were great. Can't wait till Sept. when John and I go to spyderquest and then on up to Nova Scotia. Nothing like a vacation on the spyder. Glad you guys made it back safe
