Live Oak, FL checking in...
Test rode a 2014 RT-S today. Did I like it? Picking up my Circuit Yellow Metallic RT-S, SE-6, tomorrow morning. Will ride my Harley Road King the last 100 miles as my bike, and put the first 100+ miles on my Spyder. Yes, I reached for the nonexistent front brake lever a couple times during my test ride, but having the foot-pedal only was no problem.
Deciding on my two-lane, back-roads route home tonight... very excited about tomorrows Spyder adventure.

Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

Welcome, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the ride from Live Oak down to Branford and then over to White Springs. There's a couple of little stops along the way (Suwannee River in Branford and Wilson Springs near Fort White). Inspector Gadget also lives in the Fort White area. You'll see him riding around. Your area is what Flarda used to be like 60 years ago.

welcome to the forum. Relax and enjoy the ride. Florida has a lot of two lane country roads to enjoy.

Welcome to the Spyder world. I, too, moved from a large-frame HD to the Spyder. All I can say is that the Spyder is a lot more fun to ride. This forum is a great place to share ideas and get those "newbie" questions answered. I'm just a few hours north of you and hope to cross paths some day.
By the way, good or bad, I'm friends with your former city manager - Joe G. PM me with any stories you might have on him.

The photography is great. Of course it's part talent and part subject, huh? I love the look. ...Don

Thank-you, (HuckFin and gnirtsnod) appreciate the kind words about my photos. As mentioned, difficult to go wrong when the subject is a Spyder, and you are posting on spyderlovers.com.
