    Default shifting question?

Well I just bought a RTs sm6 after not liking my RS se5. I love my new ride, lots of comfort, but when I shift up and reduce throttle, pull in clutch to shift the rpms doesn't drop fast enough. If I shift slow it works find, if I shift fast like I have done on all other bikes the rpms are still up after shift is done. Is this normal to have a slow throttle response or should I have it checked out? DennisIMG_20140628_105132.jpg

New bike?? It's normal for about the first thousand miles... Give it some time to loosen-up!

    Default Well..!!

you may have to give it some time. Shouldn't but this is a new engine if it continues there may be a vaccum leak somewhere or a computer update. I know my Jetta is that way and was told they could not change that without a computer mod...

Yes this is a 014 RT s sm6 with 80 miles so far. I was curious about the throttle response so will put more miles on it before I get more concerned. If it's still that way after 3000 miles will have it checked during break in service
