    Default Exhaust on 2013 ST

I have a 2013 ST Ltd. that I would like to put some different exhaust on. I heard the Voo Doo slips on a RS the other day and it sounded so good but won't fit on my ST. It kind of had that Harley rumble. Has anyone changed their exhaust and if so what did you put on ?

    Default Exhaust/muffler

I removed the stock exhaust/muffler on my 2013 ST-L and replaced it with a Two Brothers Racing (TBR) Black Series M-5 carbon slip on canister with a P1-X power tip, I fitted the P1-X tip to reduce the sound as I wanted the looks without all the noise.
It sounds great and is a very simple installation.

You can fit this one an still have you panniers/saddlebags installed.
It comes with a stainless steel mounting band, heat shield and connecting pipe. I had mine painted black.

Quieter than most two-brothers I've traveled beside but deeper and loud enough to let 4wheelers know u are "there " when in traffic...

Since no special mods were required, I decided to give it a try...

if you go to" you tube" and search you can see most of the pipes with audio clips. Not true to the real thing but does give you an idea....

The paint has to be a "very high temperature" product specifically designed for exhausts and engine parts and then there is a procedure for curing it which is basically running you spyder for a given length of time. All the instructions come on the spray can.
I wanted to eliminate all the chrome and steel parts on my ST-L.

I found one on Craigslist. The guy said he didn't like the sound. It was too loud. He said it would only fit a 2012 or earlier. Did the change the way they hook up in 2013 ?

I now have a Cat Eliminator fitted before my debaffled Akrapovic, and I love the sound, a bit more bark than pre eliminator, throttle response is a bit more crisp too, will find out on the weekend how the performance is.

Over the weekend I installed Pitbulls cat delete, what a big difference! Throatier sound and a bit more torque. And it runs a lot cooler...... Highly recommended

    Default Cat Delete?

Does the Cat delete require any mod's (engine management)?

Thanks for the info by the way, looking to replace my exhaust and can't decide which one, plus I have saddle bags.

I gave mine a workout on the wekend, and all was good, no engine mangement required, but a bit of patience required for fitting lolol.

If you havent replaced the Cat Converter with a Cat Delete or similar, you probably wont get any real loud noise, My debaffled Akrapovic sounds so much better after replacing the Cat Converter.
