Gas Shock for trunk
Hey folks,
Who's a good supplier for the short gas shock that holds up our trunk lids? I know there will be several of you that want to say Can-Am and yes I can go that route, but I’m sure as long as these things have been around someone has figured out a source for the shock.
For a 2010 RT.
Steve
Anybody got the numbers off the shock? Or dimensions? so I don't have to take the bike apart just to get them. the wife don't like her bike down for long.

A couple of folks have mentioned taking struts to AutoZone or some other automotive parts place, and matching them up with what they've got in stock...

Yep, Napa, Autozone. Oreilly's, Advance Auto all carry a good cross section. You can also take the numbers off the one you have and cross ref and get them from amazon.
