That sounds like FUN; however Saturday I have family plans. From Oakville to NYC is about nine hours one way. I would be caught in the rain FOR SURE. Keep posting ride ideas, and thanks.

My bro in law lived in Manalapan ( close to Manalpn library) for 15 yrs before moving to FL. I loved that place but heard its really crowded now.
Hope to meet up in NY.

Maybe some of us northerners (Canada, upstate NY, Massachusetts, Vermont) could meet up in northern NY somewhere (someplace with food & coffee? A Dunkin' Donuts??) and drive the Taconic State Parkway down--nice and twisty!

LOVE THE RESPONSE SO FAR, SO I GUESS THIS IS A GO. i SPOKE TO MY COP FRIEND AND HE SAID WE CAN PARK ON STREET BY MTV STUDIOS ON 46TH AND 7TH AVE, WE WON'T OBSTRUCT TRAFFIC THERE, CAN'T WAIT. AND THOSE OF YOU SCARED OF BOMBS, TERRORIST ETC. REMEMBER WE RIDE BIKES, OUR LIFE EXPECTANCY IS VERY SHORT TO NONBIKERS, SO LIVE AND LET LIVE. WHY WORRY ABOUT TERRORIST WHEN OSAMA BIN LADEN IS BUSY GETTING A LAP DANCE, SIPPING ON HENNNESEY, WATCHING THE JET GAME, OR SURFING IN CALI..........HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Looking forward to it. I am close to the library myself. Its crowded by traditional standards but not excessively. Luckily the built mostly mcmansions which keep the count down a bit. But those rolling houses some people call SUV's have to go.

ny run
i would love to do it i am in lower bucks county pa

Even if I could----
I would be scared to death to ride anywhere near NYC
Strange thing though, I still have FIAT paint imbeded in my elbows from bicycling all over Napoli without worry!
I will say that in a week of riding I am starting to really understand and enjoy the dymanics of Spyder handleing. I have great faith in the antilock brakes and not having to fear the 'Chirp' from that front bike tire in a panic stop. I still stay out of town as much as possible!
