Default 1st road trip on my new 2014 RT

My husband & I left home on our new Spyders (Cognac & Black Current w/trlr in tow) on Friday, headed to Blueridge Parkway...got on at Asheville, NC...went just south of Roanoke, VA...did turnaround & we are now in Cherokee, NC....One word to describe these 800 miles we have traveled: AWESOME! Surprised to have only seen less than 10 Spyders on this journey but we sure have had alot of attention & entertained lots of questions about the Spyders...60-80% chance of rain tomorrow...we may be in the Harrah Casino....

Left out May 30th on my new cognac 2014 RT Limited Edition SE6 and headed to Deal's Gap and slayed the Dragon and also got on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, NC and then headed on to Myrtle Beach, SC for a week on the beach. Answered lot's of questions along the way and noticed a lot of people taking pictures. Stopped along the way to let a group of young boys who were having a car wash to help them with a trip to Cooperstown for a ball camp. Those little guys loved the Spyder and all decided it looked like a Transformer...got lots of questions from their Mom's and Dad's too.......wonderful trip on my long awaited Dream bike!!!!

Default Just back from a 14 day road trip down to GA from Indiana

482972.jpgMy Hubby and I bought our first Spyder -- a 2014 RT Limited - Cognac and ARE totally in love with the bike. We even named her-- Yami. We just finished a 1700 mile road trip from Indiana down through KY, TN, NC, GA and back up. The Smoky Mountains were fantastic. Yeap, did the Dragon Tail. We took turns driving though my Hubby put on the most miles. I love the open road and all the twisties as my Husband calls them. Sitting in the house today- 'cause it is raining outside. Our next road trip I am hoping for a whole month!
