Saddle bag removal
That's a lot faster than I can, I sometimes struggle to locate the tool into the bolt head in the extension arms, apart from that the jobs a very easy one.
I'll be riding my ST more and more now with the saddle bags and brackets removed and just fit them when needed.

Turn signal
If anything I think it puts the turn signal lights in a more prominent position for other road users to see.

Wow! how wrong can you be . I have a 2014 RT-Lim with the new 3-cylinder 1330 and a 2013 ST-Lim with the 990cc twin 5 speed.. They both have the same narrow body in the seating area. Same seat height, I am 6'1 - 240# and find both very similar to ride. They are the same width - 60" at the front wheel spread.
The RT 1330, however, is so much stronger in acceleration due to the 115 hp and 40% increase in torque. There is less that 100# difference in the two bikes, so # per hp is better with the RT, do the math. The 6th gear is so much better on the highway at 65+ mph. Better acceleration from that speed than the twin.
The ST is a good girls bike, my wife lovers hers and we cruise together on my RT ahd her ST.

I have to agree with you.
I road my wife's STS last Sunday. It reminded me of riding a old clunker. Feels like it will vibrate it self apart in time.
There have a sale on Loctite at the auto part store. I am going to pick up a couple bottles for the rattle trap!!!!!

Loctite
Just a couple of bottles ! buy the box full.
I use a lot of it, if I take something off I make sure I loctite it back on.
After every ride I check over the spyder to make sure everything is still there, I've been lucky so far.

Actually the ST is the exact same length as the RT the seat height on the ST is 29 inches compared to the RT's higher 30.4 inches and the ST is also narrower by a whopping 0.3 inches ground clearance on the ST is 4.3 ground hugging inches and the RT is 4.5 inches the overall height of the ST is a mere 54.2 inches and the RT is 59.4
The thing that I notice the most when riding my STL compared to my Wifes RT is the lower seat height and lower overall height and aerodynamics seems way more stable and the ST is not nearly affected by wind buffeting as much as the RT and I have yet to install my baja Ron bar on the ST the Wifes RT already has the Ron bar installed and it corners really nice now!
Man that 1330 and six speed sure sounds nice though.

Yep,
The girls love to ride with me on the ST. You're only going to get the ones from the nursing home on that big fat plastic RT
