on paper it is written for 08-12, the guy who was selling on ebay says that they all are the same

Bummer..!!
They changed the muffler for the 2013's. They do make a model for the thirteens but the seller may not have been aware. You would have to get it from dealer or manufacturer. GS/RS/RSS from 08 thru 12's were the same for most parts....

Just bought hmf for my 13 rs through RPO Motorsports. Haven't open the box yet but is suppose to be for 13&14 yr.Believe they changed for the 13 yr. I would return and get the one for 2013-2014.should fit perfect

they told me to send them back the wrong one and it will take 2 weeks to get the new one
my stock exaust is unintalled, is it bad to ride it with no exaust?
it sounds nice

Thats a good question. I think it depends on how much back pressure you lose, not enough back pressure through the exhaust and you can burn exhaust valves...that saying that the computer doesn't compensate for it. Just my understanding of it...and I'm not a mechanic so hopefully someone w more knowledge of motorcycles will chime in.
Is the stock exhaust too hard to bolt back on for a week or so?
