    Phil,
Glad we could help with the lid. The headlights and fog lights are wonderful.

Phil, was there a specific reason you chose the LED over HID for your fog lights?

An experiment Mark. I may be unusual, but I've never used the fogs to see better. They seem to best be used to help others to see me, like DRLs. So, I wanted to try them to see just how bright they are. I need to take time to write up the results, but the LED fogs are not that bright, compared to HIDs especially. I may play with some gels to color them since they run so cool..... We'll see.

When I first bought the HID headlights, LED foglight bulbs were included free of charge. I installed them and found they were not effective at all - much less light than the original, but I used them anyway because the color of the original foglights really looked bad compared to the new HID headlights. I eventually bought & installed the HID foglight bulbs and am much happier with them. I find they do give a helpful amount of light coverage to the sides, filling in some areas the headlights miss.
