    Default Bluetooth/Helmet Options

Are there any simple Bluetooth devices I can attach to my ST-1 Hybrid helmet so that I can talk on my phone or listen to GPS directions from my phone.

    Default Choices choices..!!

several come to mind..scala has several models, sena, chatterbox to name a few. We use the scala G9 and love it but have not tried the others. Sena is mentioned a lot but there are others. The G9 has FM radio, plug in for music devices, phone, gps, intercome and can be paired to 9 other ryders in the group with scala units. Have fun I think scala just came out with a newer version as well..

the sena smh10's are super easy to use, to set up, they will share the audio profile between multiple connections, easy connect up to 4 in conference, allow audio/hands free to phone and gps at the same time. i love mine, though i had to change the base connector on my helmet, to allow earbuds, which i then put in the tork x-pro speakers (much better sound, dont get rattly with bass)

+1 for Sena SMH-10 and Dave. I picked up a Bell helmet at the Honda dealer in Springfield that has a place to mount the SMH-10. You do have to have the Bell mount which is $40 if you didn't get the SMH-10 with it.

Wife & I have the Sena SM10 Dongle & SMH10 Bluetooth set-up on our ST-1 Hybrid Helmets. The speakers fit into little pouches in the helmet, and the Bluetooth with microphone mounts to the side of the helmet. We have the Garmin Zuma 660 GPS & that can be linked to the Sena unit & your phone. I only use the phone setup to answer calls - the name if the caller, if they are in your phone, shows up on the GPS screen. You will hear everything in your helmet speakers. Works with an iPod also, if you have a plug in for it. Good Luck!!

Another vote for the Sena SM10s. My wife and I have these and use them bike to bike all the time. I also use it to listen to music from my iPhone when riding.

I also just purchased the Sena SMH10 for both us. We did not try them as the speakers do not fit our currrent helmets. Speakers are larger than the pockets in our helmets. I am now looking at purchasing the Bell MAG-9 Sena helmets to go with them. Nice looking 3/4 helmets with the features we like at a decent price.

The Sena SMH 5 work very well too and about $60 cheaper than the 10s.

Speaking of the Sena SMH-10's I have two clamp kits for open face and one for ear buds that I used once. Now I have Bell helmets and the SMH-10 uses a different clamp kit as it is built into the helmet.

    PM me if your interested.

Is this the Bell helmet you just purchased? I just orderd 2 of them, they should be here Saturday. They look good and are designed for the SMH-10 to fit right into them.

    Default Static

We just acquired a set of Sena SPH10H for half helmets and when paired to each other we have a constant static. Is that normal? Otherwise, no prblems, work well.

I also have smh10. This is great company to deal with. I updated my firmware to 5.1, it made even clearer, like she was siting next to me. They also made it easier to update the firmware.

This is the one I purchased and you need the Bell Sena base.

I like that you can get different thickness cheek pads and it is a very comfortable helmet.

I bought the smh10 at Spyderfest last week and can't get any sound from telephone calls or satellite radio. I updated the firmware to 5.0.1. and the lights on the headset appear to show it's paired with the dongle. Any advice would be appreciated.
