I wave at everyone, even folks in convertibles and 95% also wave back. It's about the brotherhood of the road not what machine you are riding. I'll even give bicyclists a wave. I costs nothing and makes me happy.

Sure! I also wave at restored vintage cars and motorcycle cops. Most wave back.

if it's motorized and the driver is fully outside the vehicle I wave. If in a handling situation I nod and a big thumbs up to fire fighters...just my way..!!

In New Zealand they are classed as a car, we can ride them on a car licence, they are register as a car and receive a car registration plate.

Bob you forgotten the real Reason Harley riders don't wave back
1+/ Their to busy to see you wave as they're watching in their mirrors to see where the last part has landed after it has vibrated off.

I heard somewhere that 90% of Harleys are still on the road.
