Default How to NOT end a nice ride

Well, it was a beautiful day today here in Washington state and I was planning to ride from Whidbey Island down to Portland to visit family and get my RT a Laser-alinement. I had just left on the ferry when my wife called and told me that my Laser-alinement had been canceled. There goes my best laid plans. So, two hours later I'm back on the ferry headed home. All is fine until I go to drive off the boat. Unbeknownst to me I was in a VERY low tide, which meant the the boat was lower to the dock and that the exit ramp was now at an acute angle. The end result was that as I started to accelerate up the ramp, my skid plate hit squarely on the ramp and literally RIPPED OFF the tupperware from the bottom of the frunk lid down . It rolled that whole assembly back under the bike and out the back. Picked up all of (numerous) pieces and stopped my insurance agent on the wayhome to tell him my tale of woe. NOT the way I wanted my day to end.

I have to agree with you. Did you have the spyderpops bumpskid on your roadster..?? I ask because it has full coverage and as I see would have skidded along unless you hit the nose dead on. Sorry your day got double whammied...
