Looks good. Being relatively new to motorcycle riding and very new to motorcycle modding, how do you like the all metal grips. It would seem to me that the rubber or gel grips would be more comfortable.

Be sure and wear your gloves... particularly in the summer!

    They do look good.

Yes sometime the all metal grips makes the palms sweat and very difficult to wipe. Especially in Florida heat. But I like it due to the shape of it. When I go on long distance I will wear gloves, and in the florida heat short drives heats up my hands too much. I just like the looks "Web" now I have to look for pegs. Or I could save for the Daul Exhaust pipes that I have my eyes on.... LOL Peg or exhaust decision decision I have to make...

    Those grips are BAD.
How hard were they to intall?
Did they require any additional mods or parts?

No extra parts just order it from Xoprodox.com they send you everything you need, sleeves, throttle cable head, loctite, and two grips. It took me about twenty minutes and three hands... You will need that third hand.. Now if you want to salvage the orignal grips have a can of WD 40 and a small flat screwdriver for your left grip or if you're not salvaging then just cut them off. Now the Fun and scary part the right grip you take completely off including the throttle tube and to do that you will need an allen wrench and take the two allen screws off the back of the throttle box, then pull the push cable off, and the pull cable will be loose.

Putting together just go reverse place the pull cable on first, the the push cable will go on second "This is where the third hand is needed to hold the throttle box semi close while putting the push cable on". It is really easier then what this sounds like. If you like I can attach pictures of the Throttle box taken apart. Just let me know.

A buddy of mine wants to help me put heaters in the grips. The method he's used over the years to get grips off (plastic/flexible ones) is to use a compressor and blow air into the ends. Takes just a few seconds. No mess.
