    Default Coolant Leak

I have an unusual coolant leak on my 2012 RT LTD. It only leaks when cooled off and sitting for a while. Last month before my warranty expried I took it in to have it looked at. The service guys replaced all of the hoses and clamps. The Spyder was in the shop for other stuff as well for 2 weeks. All seemed ok for the next week or two. Then I noticed coolant on the floor under the Spyder again.

I need to take things apart to see if I can locate the source since it runs off of the underside splash pans to the floor. It does not lose any coolant while riding or when hot, only after sitting cooled down or cold. I usually notice this after it sits for a few days.

    Anybody see this before?

    Water pump seal?
Seems like a very common source of coolant leaks based on other folks that have posted about it.

I had a similar leak, traced it back to a loose clamp, gave the screw couple turns and all was well.

    Default As I see it..!!

main reasons are, cracked coolant tank, when cooled down and water returns. Waterpump seal and the radiator hose with the worm gear hose clamp. Tighten the clamp and check the tank. Next would be the pump..good luck..
Forgot to mention the radiator cap. Make sure it is tightened to the second detent...

Read this thread. Some good info and might point you in the right direction. Mine leaked a bit but after tightening the clamp that took care of it.

Recently replaced the water pump(leaking seal)and the radiator(seeping at the plug bung). Warranty work.
